Is John Wall a top 5 point guard right now?
In most circumstances with the amount of talent this kid has you would say surely yes. But than you look at the point guards in the NBA right now and you have to reconsider. Whether it’s the young guys with Rose, Rondo, Evans or the guys in their prime Deron Williams and Chris Paul, or the veterans Steve Nash and Chauncey Billups, It seems like most teams have great point guards. 5 years from now I say he is battling with Chris Paul and Derrick Rose for the top spot but right now I would have to say no.

Can John Wall and Gilbert Arenas start together?
I am going to go out on a limb and I say I think this can work. First Gilbert has to let it work but if he accepts the new role I think it can. Offensively yea they both need to have the ball but there are a lot of possessions in a basketball game. And each can have plays designed for them to have the ball. But defensively you have to remember John Wall is 6 foot 4 inches and has a long wing span. He is fully capable of guarding any 2 if he has to. I think this will work. Obviously if there is a good offer for Gilbert I think you have to take it but if not I think the Wizards will have an above average season.

How do are big man stack up against the leagues best?
Actually I think they have a very good thing going. I don’t know if Andre Blatche is the 20 and 10 guy he showed last year but if he is than with an emerging shot blocker and finisher in McGee they could be a team in the future to watch out for. They are both under 25 so they have a lot of time to still grow. John Wall should also hopefully elevate their games. The plan in Washington’s mind I think is to have Gilbert play well enough to a point where some team will want him enough to part with a first round pick. And have a bad season get in the lottery and hopefully get lucky again. And in a complete long shot Carmelo Anthony grew up in the D.C. area and who knows, he might want to come home.
