Will Greg Oden stay healthy?
I don’t think he will ever be able to be a full time starter. He seems like a great guy but his body is clearly having trouble supporting him. But fortunately with Marcus Camby on the team they can afford to use Oden for only 20 minutes a game. But if this time is different and he stays healthy then he will help the Blazers tremendously.

Right now they are a playoff team. Lamarcus Aldridge is a great player and with the right center, preferably Oden if he can stay healthy, he should continue to grow offensively into one of the leagues best 4s. Brandon Roy is their obvious leader and a great one at that. I honestly believe that this team is a star point guard away from being in the NBA elite. Andre Miller is getting old and was a good short term player but they need to find their star. And the thing with this team is that they are loaded with talent to make a trade. I would say their first choice should be Tony Parker. The spurs are looking to get some younger players in the system and they already have Parkers replacement in place. Trade Parker for Luke Babbitt and Rudy Fernandez. That way they have Manus and Richard Jefferson’s replacements ready to go. They could also be interested in a Jeff Pendergraph. Parker would make the Blazers a much better team and elevate them to a new level. Chris Paul is a long shot but would obviously be the first choice. And with Paul Allen as the owner (net worth of 20B) they could afford to give Chris the max contract he wants. And if all else fails I am a firm believer in Gilbert Arenas. I think he still has the ability to be an all star and should be given a chance to play the point guard. He would be a perfect fit with the Blazers offence and would them one the best three point shooters in the NBA. Right now they are ok but they need outside help getting to the next level.
